Your files stay on your device. This page only loads static scripts and the decoder from this site’s own hosting—there is no upload step and no server-side conversion or storage.
- The decoder (WebAssembly) is several megabytes; the first run may take a moment on slower connections.
- Very large RAWs need a lot of memory; low-RAM devices or browser tabs may fail—try one file at a time or a smaller export if that happens.
- Not every camera body or firmware variant is guaranteed to decode; you’ll get a clear error per file if LibRaw can’t open it.
